Every golfer aspires to at least once in their golf career to have a Hole-in-One. Last Sunday at the Griffith Golf Club, Geoff Cotterill, one of 77 players in a medley single stableford, using a six iron, slam-dunked the par-three seventh hole.

Results of the Sunday's competition saw Brendon Peters 38 points in A Grade, Ngarau Noa 37 points 37 points runner-up on a countback over Daniel Dossetor 37 points.
Enso Basai, days best score 39 points won B Grade, Lance Gilbert 37 points.
Nathan Wiscombe 38 points best in C Grade on a countback over Skeet Milne 38 points.
Cotterill won the 7th pin sponsored by Talented Tyres, Joshua Helson 8th, Lama Lolotonga 11th.
Vouchers to 30 points.
Saturday's event was a 4 BBB Stableford with 86 players.
David Kidd and Alan Andreazza combined to card the winning score 46 points, a steady 23 points on each nine. They won on a countback over Owen Stubbs and Michael Turnell 46 points.
In third place with 45 points were Ken and Wayne Alpen.
Ken birdied the 10th, Wayne 15th to card 24 points on the back nine on a countback over Travis and Blake Millis.

Mark Townsend won the 7th pin, Darren Forrester 8th, Steve Lightfoot 11th, Kierren Elvy won the 15th and 16th.
Vouchers went to 40points.
The Club held its A.G.M. last week with a solid member attendance.
The Annual Report showed the Club returning to the black for the first time in a number of years. A record number of new members saw a huge increase in player participation.
Once again a lady member, Dorian Radue has been elected to the Club Board following the resignation of Tony McBride. All other Board positions remained the same, led by Robin Salvestro as President.
The Board is asking for volunteers to help with the day to day running of the Club and keeping its surroundings tidy.

Today's and Saturday's events are single stablefords with a single stroke on Sunday, Anzac Day.
The veterans played a single stableford last Thursday with 29 players in two grades.
Gerry Cox 40points won Div.1, Tony McBride 36 points second.
Len Sexton 33 points won Div. 2, Ron Smith 31 points runner-up over Keith Woodbridge, Mike Hedditch.
Graham Sibraa won the 7th pin, Tony McBride 11th, Byron James 16th.

Jason Brain 37 points own Div.11, Brian Savage 35 points second on a countback Jeff Wiscombe.
