On a tough weekend, coach Luke Santolin feels it was a case of his squad being stretched a bit too far.
"We only travelled with 21 players for two squads that was just the way it worked out," he said.
"We tried our best to manage the squads to win points in both grades, but ultimately we were just too stretched against a quality opposition."

After a tough opening 30 minutes, the scores were still level, but the Yoogali coach felt once the first goal was scored, heads started to drop.
"We knew that we maybe didn't have the legs or the back up to come back at them," he said.
" I think 5-0 wasn't a fair reflection off O'Connor we are, but you can't half-arse a tough away trip to Canberra."
The task wasn't made easier with Jordan Baveresco being sent off in the under 23s game, which ruled him out of the first-grade clash, but Santolin feels that working with a smaller squad on away trips may be something the side might have to come to terms with.
"Four or five of our young boys had to play two games, and looking back, we put them on too early in 23s to try and get the win there," he said.
"Ultimately, Jordan got sent off, and Isaac (Donadel) and Jack (Moon) probably, not that they'd admit it, probably just didn't have the legs to play one and a half games.
"We have to get better at that because whilst I'd like to think it won't be every away game that we have that many players out, it could happen."
