Youth Week and Seniors Week overlap this year and Griffith City Library is prepping for a busy seven days celebrating the two occasions.
On Tuesday, the library will be celebrating the NSW Seniors Festival with a 10am reading from The Secret Garden, followed by a free morning tea and a screening of the 1949 film adaptation.
Later that day, the library is hosting a job readiness program for Youth Week, where young Griffith residents can come and learn how to create their own resume or cover letter and learn interview techniques.
There will also be free pizza for the budding minds that turn up.

The library will also be launching it's new weekly Seniors Brain Strain program on Thursday, where Griffith residents can socialise and sharpen their mind through crosswords and sodokus.
Library manager Karen Tagliapietra said she was excited to welcome the community into the building for the events.
"I've always seen the library as playing a vital role in social connectivity and keeping the community together, as well as lifelong learning, and these events show just that," Ms Tagliapietra said.
"We especially want to celebrate our seniors and thank those that have shown such dedication and support for the library."
"Seniors week has always been well-supported so we're really looking forward to it."
Bookings are essential for each event and can be made online.
