Members of the Taskforce72 Scale Model Ship Association convened at the Naracoorte Swimming Lake for the event, which was postponed from November.
Task Force 72 is a group of scale model ship enthusiasts who specialise in building military and non-military model ships to a uniform scale of 1:72.
They bought ships of every size, all hand built by the members.
Also in attendance was Commanding Officer Commander Alastair Cooper of the Royal Australian Navy, who served as reviewing officer for the weekend.
Unfortunately, unfavorable weather conditions meant the sunset sail had to be abandoned.
A salvage mission was required when HMAS Swan U 74 sank after the 2pm sail past, but the ship was successfully recovered.
