After winning the toss and electing to bat, Leagues would have been looking to make the most of the early conditions through Andrew Madden and Ben Leach.
Daniel Dossiter had other ideas, however, as he was able to pick up the wicket of Leach (4) in the fourth over.
Reece Matheson and Madden looked to get their side heading in the right direction however, with the score on 19 after nine overs, Matheson (3) was the next to fall when he was caught by Crack off the bowling of Dossiter.
Madden and Logan Matheson became Dossiter's (4/41) third and fourth victim shortly after, and the Panthers looked to be in real trouble at 4/35 after 18 overs.
Leagues captain Jimmy Binks and Daniel Bozic were tasked with guiding their side out of the tough position and were able to put runs on the board over the next eight overs.
After a 29-run stand, trouble struck once again for the Panthers as wickets started to fall in quick succession.
Bozic (14), Binks (23), Noah Gaske (0) and Paul Plummer (2) fell to the bowling of Ryan Bulluss (4/16) while Matt Keenan (0) was trapped in front by Luke Peruzzi (1/19).
At 9/70, it looked like Diggers would be in cruise control if they were able to take the final wicket.
Tom Greenaway and Dan Hillam (16*) had other ideas as the pair were able to bat for the next 20 overs and get their side past the 100-mark before Kyle Bennett (1/6) had Greenaway (13) out caught behind to see Leagues bowled out for 108.

In reply, Diggers made a fast start with Tom Valeri and Mark Favell at the top of the order.
With just over an hour left on day one, Valeri and Favell were able to put on 30 inside the first six overs before Greenaway struck to remove Valeri (6).
Greenaway followed it up three balls later with the wicket of Luke Peruzzi (0) to bring the experienced pair of Trevor Richards and Mark Favell together.
With 10 overs left in the day's play, Richards and Favell looked certain to make it to stumps before Binks struck to dismissed Richards (11) with the final ball of the day and see Diggers close out the day on 3/52.
After a delayed start to day two, Favell and Crack looked to dig in however, both departed early on to the bowling of Greenaway (4/30).
Kyle Bennett and Ben Fattore looked to try and steer their side towards success, knowing that time was on their side.
With the score on 88, trouble struck for Diggers, however, when Ben Fattore (12) was caught off the bowling of Gaske (1/19).
Matt Peruzzi (0) was caught off the bowling of Hillam and hurt his knee in the process while Kyle Bennett (10) followed closely behind.
Bozic would return to the attack and had an immediate impact with the wicket of Bulluss (1) while Dossiter (0) fell in the final ball of the same over to see Diggers bowled out for 95 to see Leagues leading by 13 runs.
While Leach (3) and Madden (1) fell cheaply, the middle order from the Panthers stood strong.
Binks (20), Reece Matheson (28) and Bozic (21), but it was Logan Matheson's (31 off 111) innings that made the difference as Diggers conceded with the Panthers on 6/132, holding a lead of 145.
