The Riverina Winemakers Association (RWA) will once again be hosting their annual wine festival on Saturday, April 3 at the Old Miranda Wines site.

Since having reinstated the festival back in 2017, the event has been a sell-out every year.
The 2020 event was initially postponed to the October long weekend in the hope that it could be held...unfortunately that was not to be.
The event's ticket sales have remained open since 2020 so those who purchased tickets had the choice to either hold onto them or have them refunded.
They are still valid for entry this year but if you are unsure check the tickets on your eventbrite account.
Make sure to come early to get a table or a spot in the shade.
A great selection of wines will be available to purchase from the local wineries as well as local food.
Festival-goers are encouraged to pre-order their drink tokens online along with a delicious array of food options.
Alaina's Kitchen will be making up gourmet picnic boxes to graze on as well as traditional pasta dishes for those wanting a more hearty meal.

Cocoa and Bean will be putting together some decadent dessert boxes for the sweet tooths out there that want to treat themselves.
Whilst we are unable to dance there will still be a great selection of talented musicians playing throughout the day.
Festival manager Carrah Lymer says, "We are really looking forward to hosting this event and showcasing local wine, food and music".
"We hope everyone who attends enjoys themselves and appreciates how lucky we are to be able to do this.
"We just want to reiterate that the format of the event has had to adapt and will attendees should be aware that it will operate differently from previous years."
The main changes are....
- It will be more picnic than party. There will be more seating and shaded areas to hang out and enjoy the day. Whilst festival-goers can stand and drink they are encouraged to remain socially distanced and minimise mingling
- The event this year is 18+ only to completely eliminate the risk of underage drinking occurring.
- The ticket numbers have been reduced slightly to allow for more spacing, so don't wait too long to buy your tickets.
- The festival can only run for five hours so it will start as per usual at 12pm and end at 5 pm, one hour earlier than normal. Also note that token and alcohol sales will close prior to 5 pm.
- You will be able to purchase a maximum of four drinks at once. This is to allow fewer people to line up over and over again. So take turns in shouting a round for your group of friends and not worry about losing your spot.
We encourage attendees to
- Pre-purchase food and drink tokens online. Less time for you to spend waiting in lines on the day
- Arrive early and find a spot, no holding tables allowed.
- Come prepared to enter and stay on the site. Passouts will be extremely limited and only given at the discretion of security.
- Be sun smart. Hat and sunscreen. Remember there is free water available all day also.
- Leave the car at home. Get a lift or a taxi to the site.
- Follow the instructions on the day in regards to any covid processes or restrictions

- That security will be checking ID and bags at the door as per usual.
- Do not bring any drink or food to the site.
- That is strictly 18+ only so bring your ID with you or risk not being let in
- You must have a copy of your ticket with you (e-ticket on phone or printed out)
- We have zero-tolerance for violent, aggressive or rude behaviour to other patrons and our staff.
