All three showings of Bluey's Big Play at Griffith Regional Theatre were completely sold out, meaning nearly 1200 Griffith residents got the chance to see Bluey and her family in the flesh.

In the foyer before the shows, children decked from head to toe in Bluey merch could barely contain their anticipation.

What followed was nearly an hour of laughing, singing and dancing as Bluey and her family put on a show to remember.

Griffith Regional Theatre's Veronica Armanini said the show was a great success.

"The kids really enjoyed the show and as they were walking out they were all just beaming with excitement and happiness," Mrs Armanini said.
