Questions were raised this week when Member for Murray Helen Dalton was not included in the official ceremony at the launch of Griffith's new pool.
Both the federal and state governments funded the pool project, but Mrs Dalton was not chosen to represent the NSW government at the opening.
Instead, the State government was represented by Steph Cooke, Parliamentary Secretary to the Deputy Premier and Member for Cootamundra.
Mrs Dalton was invited and did attend the event, but was not included in official photos or asked to give a speech as the other representatives were.
I'm the Member for Murray and as such I should be at these openings in an official capacity.

"Today, Griffith mayor John Dal Broi excluded me from a number of Griffith events, instead inviting outsider Cootamundra National Party MP Steph Cooke to pose alongside him in photos ... it's a shame John won't put petty politics aside to work together for the good of the electorate," Mrs Dalton said in a Facebook post.
The post sparked hundreds of comments from local residents asking why their elected official was left out of the official ceremony.
Griffith City Council and mayor John Dal Broi have denied snubbing Mrs Dalton in favour of Ms Cooke.
"That wasn't the case at all," mayor Dal Broi said.
"The directive from the NSW Government was that Steph Cooke would be doing the opening along with the Federal Member, so that's what we followed."
Speaking to The Area News Mrs Dalton described this explanation as "rubbish".
"I think they can do what they like," she said.
"We don't like in a communist society or an undemocratic society. I'm the Member for Murray and as such I should be at these openings in an official capacity."

Mrs Dalton said this was not the first time she had been left out of events in the Murray electorate in favour of the Member for Cootamundra.
The office of Ms Cooke said she attended the opening in her capacity as Parliamentary Secretary to the Deputy Premier and not as Member for Cootamundra.
In this role Ms Cooke represents Deputy Premier John Barilaro in his work across NSW.
