Pace bowler Vlaeminck, 22, was named on Tuesday for Australia's ODI and T20 tour of New Zealand that gets under way late next month.
Vlaeminck's selection follows her recent return for Victoria in the Women's National Cricket league, which included picking up 4-16 against the ACT on Sunday.
"She has been working her way back to full fitness in the WNCL with Victoria and we've already seen some devastating spells from her," Australian national nelector Shawn Flegler said on cricket.com.au.
The squad features 17 players to be captained by Meg Lanning.
Australia's tour to New Zealand features three T20 and three ODI matches to be played between March 28 and April 10.
