After winning the toss and electing to bat, Oliver Bartter and Tom Shannon were able to get their side off to a strong start.
They worked their way to 35 off the first six overs before Bartter (19) was knocked over by Marc Tucker (1/31).
Talwinder Singh joined Shannon out in the middle, but the change of bowling worked the way the Eagles would have wanted, with Daniel Duckworth taking a sharp caught and bowled to see Singh (5) making his way back to the pavilion.
Shannon and Dean Catanzariti were able to keep their side moving in a positive direction to see their side at 2/60 at drinks.
The third-wicket pairing was able to accelerate from there as they pushed their partnership to 71 runs while Shannon past his fifty before he was caught by Tucker off the bowling of Connor Bock (1/39).
Catanzariti kept his side's score ticking over with a 20-run partnership with Jack Rowston (5) before he fell to Don Jayasuriya, while Jordan Whitworth was able to help his side push towards a competitive total.

Catanzariti posted a fifty of his own in a 33-run stand with Whitworth before Duckworth claimed the wicket of Whitworth (10) before following it up with the wicket of Catanzariti (66) to see Hanwood sitting on 6/179 with two overs left.
Hanwood skipper Charlie Cunial (14*) added some late runs to see his side finish their 40 overs on 7/190.
The Eagles were able to put on 19 runs in the first six overs before Bradyn Challis (6) was bowled by Cunial.
Phil and Craig Burge got their side moving in a positive direction, but with the side on 32 after 10 overs, the change in the bowling attack swung the game in Hanwood's favour.
Gulfam Ahmed was destructive in this first three overs as he made the crucial breakthrough of Phil (6) and Craig Burge (18).
There was no reprieve from the other end as Angus Bartter (2/28) picked up the wicket of Bock (4) and Tucker (3) as the Exies side lost 5/11 over the course of eight overs to be sitting on 6/44 at the halfway mark of their innings.
Staring down the barrel of a heavy defeat, Don Jayasuriya and Bryce Rogers looked to add some respectability to the scoreboard with 20 overs still remaining in their innings.
The seventh-wicket pairing was able to do just that as they batted out the next 17 overs, and while the runs weren't flowing freely, they were able to push their side towards the 100-mark.
Josh Carn's return to the attack saw him pick up the wicket of Rogers (31) with a returned catch while Ahmed (4/13) was able to pick up his fourth of the afternoon.
Duane Ashcroft (13*) and Jayasuriya (14*) were able to see off the remaining 10 balls to see the Eagles bat out their 40 overs to finish on 8/110.
As Hanwood were able to restrict to under 150, they picked up the bonus point, which secured their top-two finish on the one-day ladder as they now sit nine points ahead of Leagues.
