After winning the toss and electing to bat Owen Robinson and Seamus Maley got Griffith to 26 before Robinson (10) fell in the sixth over.
Griffith captain Cooper Rand came to the crease and was able to put on a 76-run stand with Maley (29) before the opener was dismissed.
Rand was able to find another strong partner in Luke Cannon who lifted the side with a 67-run stand to lift their side to 179 before Rand (61) was finally dismissed.
Cannon (72) kept the runs ticking over and with Meli Ranitu (28) were able to lift their side to 249 when they reached the end of their 45 overs.
