The Hedditch Cup defence saw Temora make the trip and after winning the toss and electing to bat Griffith were on the back foot early as Oliver Bartter (0) fell in the second over to the bowling of Blake Harper.
Mitchell Williams-Hedges (3) fell soon after when he was caught behind of the bowling of Hamish Starr before Harper picked up the crucial wickets of Haydn Pascoe (12) and Dean Bennett (3).
Talwinder Singh (1) fell without troubling the scorers while Tom Valeri (3) also departed after an absolute screamer was taken by Blake Harper off the bowling of Starr (2/30) to see Griffith struggling on 6/29 after 17 overs.
Luke Docherty and Jimmy Binks were able to add some respectability to the scoreboard with a 46-run partnership before Docherty (19), but Binks found another strong partner in Ben Rowston.
Binks (52) was able to post a half-century while contributions from Angus Boulton (13) and Ben Rowston (12*) helped Griffith reach 132 before Harper (6/17) knocked over the last two wickets to complete his five-wicket haul.
Mark Stinson (26) made a strong start at the top of the order, but early wickets to Alex Flood (2/52) and Williams-Hedges (2/17) gave their side a chance of defending the total to have Temora on 4/32 after 11 overs.
Luke Gerhard (18) got his side heading in the right direction again after the quick fall of wickets while Stinson continued to get his side into a good position before leaving the field with a hamstring concern.
Binks, Bennett (1/28) and Docherty (1/28) looked to have their side back on top before Stinson returned to the crease. Stinson (26) eventually fell to the bowling of Binks (3/26) to see Temora requiring 25 runs off the final 15 overs.
The game went down to the final two overs before Peter Gerhard (21*) and Will Oliver (5*) were able to get their side over the line to take the Hedditch Cup with a one-wicket win.
The Creet Cup also left Griffith's possession with Lake Cargelligo picking up a four-wicket win.
Mitchell Johnson was destructive to Griffith's top order as he picked up the wickets of Craig Burge (12), Jack Rowston (4) and Connor Bock (3). Liam Greenaway (33) and Charlie Cunial (41) were the only Griffith batsmen to get starts as Johnson (5/21), and Greg McFadgen (3/24) did the damage with the ball to see Griffith bowled out for 127.
Johnson (22) and Nathan Morris (62*) were able to lead their side to the four-wicket win with 17 overs remaining.
