The Connect the Dots Art Trail concept is only in its infancy but is already piquing the interest of Griffith's creative community with dozens banding together to get involved.
"There are a lot of creatives in Griffith, and not just in the art space," Griffith artist Lisa Taliano said.
"Connect the Dots is trying to incorporate an umbrella of creatives like theatre, dance and writers.
"We want to put a spotlight on Griffith to say there are creatives here doing wonderful things and we need to support them. They bring colour and depth to the town."
Connect the Dots is an idea to showcase the diversity of artists in the community through creating pop-up installations around the town and connecting them through an interactive map.
After a sullen year for public and community life in Griffith, the hope is that Connect the Dots will also get people engaging with public spaces again.
There are plans in the works for the project to be linked with tourism and businesses in Griffith and other community hubs like the gallery and theatre. There are already local businesses getting involved with the latest installation going up at Straight Lines design on Banna Avenue.
"By highlighting the business as well as attaching creative installations things might come alive again here," Mrs Taliano said.
"The more people we have, the more things that could happen.
"We are wanting to get artists here motivated to know they are part of big network, this is really important. As creatives you bounce off each other and grow being part of a collaborative community."
Three pop-up installations have already been created and are on display. To find them check out Connect the Dots' Facebook page. Creatives and businesses that are keen to get involved can contact Connect the Dots through Facebook.
