The team at 80 Benerembah Street will be making the most of Neighbourhood House before their new headquarters in Olympic street is due to open later this year.
"At the moment the community centre is full. Every space has been accommodated," Peta Dummett, co-ordinator at the centre said.
The Red Cross, Multicultural Disability Advocacy Association, Carevan and One Door have taken up residence in Neighbourhood House but there is still space for more services in the new centre said Ms Dummett.
"We are excited about the move. We're looking forward to agencies working in partnership with us to deliver services that meet the needs of the community," Ms Dummett said.
Education and support are the focus for the centre with ambitious plans to use the new facilities at Olympic street to build marketable skills for people.
"With the vegetable garden and new kitchen we are looking at developing skilled workshops," Ms Dummett said.
"We're looking at up-skilling people who are long-term unemployed to give them skills to gain meaningful employment."
The centre are working with other training providers to hopefully deliver courses in anything from art to hospitality.
"We are hoping to set up market stalls so people can sell produce and products like arts and crafts from the centre as well," Ms Dummett said.
"We are hoping the new centre will be an environment where everybody feels welcome and a space where we can provide skills and support where people can grow."
At this stage, the new centre on Olympic street is due for completion in August with the community centre board keenly watching the progress.
"We are at the stage where the roof will be on in the next couple of weeks," Val Woodland, chair of the community centre board said.
"We are looking at August at this early stage so it's a busy planning time for us now. We've got to start looking at the interior design and fit out for the centre. We'll be finalising who will be moving into the rooms and what their needs will be too."
