After winning the toss and batting, Hanwood was able to get to 23 before Oliver Bartter (11) was dismissed by Connor Bock (1/13) while Talwinder Singh (9) fell soon after when he was bowled by Bryce Rogers.
Tom Shannon and Dean Catanzariti were able to push their side past 50 with a 25-run partnership before Shannon (32) was stumped off the bowling of Aditha Jayasuriya.
Hanwood's middle and lower order were able to show their strength with Catanzariti and Luke Docherty able to put on 44 runs and give their side a great chance of setting a defend-able total before Docherty (15) was caught behind while Charlie Cunial (3) fell soon after to see the Hanwood side sitting on 5/126.
Catanzariti (41) followed three runs later when he was caught off the bowling of Marc Tucker (2/23) but Jordan Whitworth (21), Jack Rowston (25) and Ben Rowston (16*) were able to add some late runs to see the Hanwood side bowled out in their final over for 206.
The Eagles were going to need to make a strong start however Josh Carn (1/6) struck in the third over to remove Hayden Forner (1) to have Exies on the back foot.
James Roche and Craig Burge tried to rebuild their side's innings with a 39-run stand before Roche (17) was out caught and bowled by Gulfam Ahmed while Burge (26) was dismissed by Cunial three overs later to see Exies sitting on 3/57 after 15 overs.
Tucker and Jayasuriya got their side to 72 before Exies lost 3/11 with Ahmed (3/35) taking the wickets of Tucker (12) and Jayasuriya (3) while Cunial (2/21) picked up the wicket of Bryce Rogers (0).
Wickets continued to fall for Exies, and they weren't able to recover with Bock (15) the only of the remaining batsmen to get a start with Catanzariti (2/6) and Shannon (2/15) claiming the remaining wickets to see the Eagles bowled out for 105 in the 30th over.
Hanwood will look to maintain their momentum when they take on Diggers next weekend while Exies have the bye.
