After a challenging year for the theatre and the arts in general last year, Griffith Regional Theatre manager Raina Savage can't wait for the doors to open for 2021.
"We have a really full and high quality program this year, pretty much all of the major performing arts companies are coming," Ms Savage said.
"We have opera, symphony, classic and contemporary dance and drama, aboriginal theatre, circus and fantastic kids and seniors shows. It is an absolute bumper season!
"I think it is definitely our best ever."
With a $1.3 million rejuvenation of the theatre officially completed in October, and COVID restrictions relaxing, Ms Savage is hoping this year's line up will help to heal the arts community in Griffith and get people enjoying theatre again.
"It feels very healing for us and the community to be able to invite people back and to just recreate that magic of theatre experience," she said.
"We felt really supported by our patrons while we were closed, we know it's been really disappointing for them not to be able to come to the theatre.
"As soon as we announced the launch we have had people contacting us to book in for that so i think it's going to be a real celebration."
Griffith Regional Theatre officially launches the 2021 line up Sunday, February 7, with names like award winning aboriginal dance theatre, Bangarra returning to Griffith.
"At the launch there'll be amazing food and wine as well as live entertainment and we'll be presenting the program and then there will be a COVID safe party afterwards," Ms Savage said.
"We are super excited that we have Bangarra back after six years on Saturday the 13th of February. This show is going to be premiering at Sydney Festival in a couple of weeks and it will be coming to Griffith straight from the premier," Ms Savage said.
"We are the first regional venue on their tour schedule."
For those who cannot wait for February 7 you can satisfy your theatre thirst at Pioneer Park on Australia Day with a Few Quiet Ales written by and starring two actors from Wagga Wagga.
"A couple of blokes go into a pub and wait for a mate, have a few beers and tell a few tall stories,"
