UNEXPECTEDLY 2020 turned out to be challenging one.
We had to change how we lived our lives to help reduce the spread of COVID-19.
At the beginning of the year, we could not have expected it to turn out the way it did.
It would be safe to say that 2020 has not gone in the direction any of us could have imagined.
So, it may be a good thing to take stock and look back - to look forward.
By carving some time to reflect, we can reflect to looking forward. It is important to bring the year together to a close.
Additionally, goals may need to change and adapt, whatever they may be.
IN OTHER NEWS:
In any case, goals should never be static, because our lives are always changing. We never know what lies ahead and we cannot predict the future but we encourage everyone to stay positive and do things that stimulate your health and state of mind.
As we have found out, everything can be turned upside down that's for sure, mostly though, we have become more connected than ever. Lives were indeed de-railed due to the COVID.

In times of crisis and indeed pandemic, it is easy to become dragged in negative talk, however, in the midst of it all, you may have been able to identify, small opportunities for change such as finding solutions to changed work and living conditions, finding patience when kids had to be home schooled, finding new ways to keep fit, when sports couldn't be played or gyms unable to open, etc.
So, double down on your strengths and work on weaknesses, little by little.
Although our region was spared the COVID nightmare, still, we experienced the uncertainty, anxiety and mental health issues associated with the COVID.
Travel restrictions and unable to visit friends and family elsewhere in Australian and overseas, weddings, funerals and a plethora of activities and events that were not able to be held at all, including our multicultural festival and carols at Christmas.
We are all longing to have the multicultural festival back on the agenda for 2021.
Celebrate what you have learned and achieved. Embrace change. Here is to a greatly improved year ahead, 2021.
