Regional areas are not immune from COVID authorities are warning after it was revealed a person with coronavirus had gone camping out of Sydney.
During Tuesday's press conference, Acting Premier John Barilaro said an 18-year-old man with COVID-19 travelled to Orange, Nyngan and Broken Hill for a camping trip.
Health Minister Brad Hazzard warned that areas outside of the state's capital were not immune to the threat.

"You can't assume just because you're in regional NSW you either don't have the virus or you're safe from the virus being transmitted to you," Mr Hazzard said. "Any symptoms at all, go and get tested."
NSW Health did not answer questions about whether it had considered banning travel to regional areas from Greater Sydney to stem the spread, but said it was monitoring the situation.
