A TEENAGE girl out for a jog was allegedly approached by a man at Lake Wyangan on Boxing Day.

The 16-year-old was out jogging around 4.15pm on December 26 when she was startled by the man in a white van who was calling out to her.
Police allege the man approached the girl once more before she fled on foot, running home and alerting her parents to the incident, who immediately contacted the Murrumbidgee Police District.
Griffith police are now calling on the community to assist with their investigations, hoping someone can assist them in tracking down the man.
The man is described as being aged between 30 and 40, having a very dark complexion.
The 16-year-old said he was of a medium build and black hair worn in a knotted style.
