Earlier this year, eagle-eyed reader Greg Adamson spotted what appeared to be shark fins poking up above water on the side of the road on Burley Griffin Way.
Indeed they were shark fins, but it was a clever art installation that had popped up by "Binya's Banksy" - a Binya artist who is known for placing sculptures and decorations up around their property which vary on the season.
This time around, Mr Adamson has spotted some wonderful Christmas cheer in the area, likely again courtest of "Binya's Banksy".
In another clever display there is everything from a painted Christmas tree with baubles and three old drums that have been painted to replicate candles with lights adorning them for night time fun to a clever sleigh complete with Santa hauling his presents with the help of an Australian kangaroo.
"Binya's Banksy" certainly does take after his namesake - the world-famous graffiti artists known for creating seminal artwork on the sides of buildings.
In 2020, there's no doubting everyone needs a reason to smile and a reason to believe in hope and of better things to come and these festive works have provided just that.
Thank you, Binya Banksy.
