For the fifth and final round of grants, the Griffith and Regional Association of Performing Arts will receive $3,273, Griffith Wiradjuri Preschool will get $2,500, Hanwood Football Club will collect $750, and the Griffith Show Society will pick up $495.
The full $100,000 set aside by council for the grants has now been exhausted.
Councillor Doug Curran initially brought the idea for the program forward after seeing what other councils across the country were doing.
The scheme allowed any local charities, organisations, and sporting clubs which has been negatively impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic to apply for grants up to $5,000.
Cr Curran said the program appears to have been very well received by the community, to the point where council will likely discuss the possibility of bringing it back next financial year.
"There's quite a lot of organisations that are still really suffering from the downturn of COVID," he said.
"Sporting clubs that didn't get to function this year ... charity organisations that haven't been able to hold meetings."
"As far as I know, the grants have been quite well received, and hopefully council can look at something similar again next year."
Council received 41 applications over the course of the program, and handed out 31 grants.
