Scorching temperatures did not deter 48 Feral's last Saturday. The run began with the third round of presentations focusing on the long course competition plus a couple of surprises.

Life member Bob Barker did the honours presenting medallions and trophies to those present. The long course champions and point scores for the 2019-2020 Feral year were: -
Hotfoot 6 races, John Farronato (180) Stewart Wood (154) Roy Binks (153)

An anonymous donor created a trophy recognizing the Feral who accumulated the most black flag results meaning:- forgot their tag, got lost etc. John Johns was the no surprise recipient of the trophy back dated for 2018, 2019 and 2020.
Ed Frkovic was inducted into the Feral's Hall of Fame. Ed joined the Feral's in 1988 and is an infamous social Feral noted for being one of the last to leave a social function and sporting a bright red tulle tutu for the pre-Christmas run. Ed has served on the Feral committee and volunteers on the setting up roster. Ed has been the club bagman, booking Pioneer Park for presentation nights and ensuring everyone paid up.
Backdated trophies were awarded to Rodney, Ella and Cooper Savage.
John Keenan 15m50s was 1st in the Hotfoot short course competition, 2nd Elio Minato 21m09s and 3rd was Mark Hancock 20m18s.
In the Hotfoot long course Rodney Beckwith 31m02s 1st carved 6 minutes off last week's run. Aidan Fattore 24m24s was 2nd, he was also the fastest on the day and leads the competition at this stage by 30 points. Newly inducted Hall of Fame Ed Frkovic 38m02s was 3rd.
The Feral's meet at the green water tower opposite Pioneer Park every Saturday for a 5:30pm start. People interested in friendly social running are welcome to join the club.
