MASTER BLASTER
The fourth round of matches in the Master Blaster season featured some great batting from the Strikers who lost only one wicket in hitting up 89 runs. Alec Brady continued his top form with an innings of 34. Archie Leach backed him up with 16runs as did Jackson Grace-Wade who also made 16.

Cowen Wynne was the Thunders sole wicket taker. The Thunder's batsmen struggled to hold out the Strikers bowlers finishing with a score of 13/66. Jake Breen top scored with 14, Andrew Maher made 12 as did Cowen Wynne.
Charlie Bunn was again on target with his bowling, picking up three wickets for the Strikers. Alex Hilton chipped in with two wickets, as did Alec Brady, Eliza Rawle and Cooper Power.
The Scorchers score of 9/108 (ave 12) was just enough to edge out the Hurricanes who made 10/107 (ave 10.7). The Scorchers major run scorers were Josh Pentony who made 25, Levi Plum 23, Curtis Carlon 17, Rory Lasscock 15 and Harrison Palmer 14.
Harjun Brar bowled very well to take three wickets for the Hurricanes and Daniel Taylor claimed two wickets.
The Hurricanes batting was led by Varis Gill who made 21, Tytan Vasta 21, Vai Patel 20 and Megh Chaudhari 16. Rory Lasscock and Harrison Palmer were the best of the Scorchers bowlers, capturing two wickets each.
The Stars batsmen again got on top of the opposition bowling attack to register a winning score of 8/129 against the Heat's 10/82.
Matthew Andrighetto again stood out with his 29 runs. Lachlan Spry also had his eye in, knocking up 24. Other contributors to the Stars score were Jake Suine 22, Luke Ramsey 18 and Nate Hayliar 17. Wickettakers for the Heat included Hudson Crack, Thomas Bray, Cody Lucas and Roy Condon.
Thomas Bray top scored for the Heat with 17. Cody Lucas added 16 and Hudson Crack 13. Jake Suine had a field day in the bowling department with a four wicket haul. Matthew Andrighetto proved his all round ability taking two wickets.
Jake Suine's top all round performance wins him the cricketer of the week award.

SENIOR BINKS/TUCKER
Smith are proving very hard to beat in this division. Their batsmen again laid the platform for their win over Paine when they hit up 6/128. Bradley Whitworth again showed the way with an innings of 28. Reif Leach was also a major contributor with 22 and Daniel Mitchell made 12.
Paine's wickettakers included Yash Rathi, Isaac Hill, Cormac Skaliotis, Amijot Singh, Presely Young and Austin Flack. Paine's batsmen battled to 9/68. Cormac Skaliotis topped the runscoring with 18 runs.
Ben Virago helped the score along with 15 and Amijot Singh made 12. Brad Whitworth topped off a good day, taking 3/3. Wyatt Carter took two valuable wickets for six runs.
Cummins is another team that is coming along nicely. They were able to score 5/87 (ave 17.4) to overcome the challenge from Finch who made 8/55 (ave 6.9). Fletcher Kelly kept up his big hitting efforts of the previous week by top scoring with 23.
Ted Files made his usual 21 and Dean Suine made 15. Will Ruggeri was the pick of the Finch bowlers, finishing with 2/23. Major runscorers for Finch were Charlie Morel and Lachlan Wynne who both made nine. Esther Sanson was next best with seven.
Fletcher Kelly capped a big day by bagging four wickets for ten runs off his four overs. Ted Files bowled a tight spell to finish with 2/6.
Cricketer of the week was a tight contest between Fletcher Kelly and Brad Whitworth. Fletcher just did enough to win it.

MILLIKEN SHIELD
Griffith v Coleambally at Coleambally
Griffith scored a hard fought win over Coleambally on Sunday.
Griffith batted first and were given a sound start by Ted Files (16) and Cai Culgan (10). The openers put on 28 before Owen Robinson came to the crease and in a very short space of time reached 25 which forced his retirement.
From a handy 2/60 Griffith's score slipped to 9/101 when Robinson re-entered the scene belting his way to 57 not out which included five sixes and five fours.
He took the score to 137 before the last wicket fell. Reif Leach with 10 runs and Austin Flack eight both made handy contributions.
Coleambally's innings got off to a slow start and at the half way mark they were 4/38, needing 100 runs off 15 overs. They did well to reach 6/110 with Joel Mahy top scoring with 25 runs retired.
Ted Files did a good job picking up two wickets for eight runs and taking two safe catches from skied mis-hits.
