It has been a long time between drinks for the Panthers who haven't played a game since October 17, but with the sky looking clear heading into the weekend's clash with Hanwood, the signs are looking positive.

No player from the Panthers will be keener to get out there than captain Jimmy Binks who missed the first game of the season against Hanwood due to being away at a wedding.
"I'm pretty happy about that (clear forecast) if I'm honest," he said.
"I've been getting a bit toey to get into it if I'm being completely honest.
"I had a quick bat against Exies in the second round and felt quite good, but the scorecard doesn't really show that."
Binks feels that there is a real sense of excitement to finally get back out on the field from a lot of his players.
"It is good to see some of the younger boys keen," he said.
"Even seeing the Mathesons (Reece and Logan) they are starting to get pretty eager for it and certainly kids like Michael Cudmore and Noah Gaske.
"Even though they have had a couple more chances with playing third grade, they are pretty keen to get out there and play a full match on Saturday."
Moving forward knows how important having the likes of Cudmore and Gaske in the side as well as newly acquired fast bowler Dan Hillam in the side moving forward.
"I'm pretty keen on giving the young guys a go," he said.
"You see what Hanwood and how they sort of benefited. If they are keen, there is no reason why we should hold them back."
Hanwood is coming into the game off the back of a convincing defeat at the hands of Coro and are still searching for their first win of the season.
The top order from Hanwood has looked dangerous in their two chance to get to the crease with Luke Docherty and Oliver Bartter both able to get starts and post 50-plus run opening partnership, but as wickets start to fall, that is where the difficulty comes.
Binks knows his side will have to be on the lookout for the young Bartter.
"f the young Bartter boys are playing they are always quite dangerous, and I guess Charlie Cunial as well," he said.
"Not sure if Hicko (Brendan Hicken) will be in the side or not, but he is always dangerous.
"There are a couple that you really have to look out for, one bloke can take it away from you pretty quickly."
Leagues were able to take the points in the first clash between the two teams off the back of a hundred and five-wicket haul to Dan Bozic, but he is unavailable for the Panthers due to his selection in the SIRU 7s representative side.
