The Heat scored a narrow win over the Hurricanes. They posted a score of 7/80 (ave 11.4) to the Hurricanes 6/52 ( ave 8.7). Miles Condon was again amongst the runs hitting up 21 for the Heat and gaining support from his brother Roy who made 14 and Ryan Booker who made 11.
Varis Gill picked up a couple of wickets for the Hurricanes, Vai Patel topped the run scoring for the Hurricanes with 13. Titan Vasta, Ollie Nancarrow and Megh Chaudhari all made 7.
Owen Condon was the Heat's most successful bowler with his two wickets.
The Stars racked up an impressive 8/124 in their game against the Strikers, who responded with a score of 10/53. Nate Hayllar was in great form with an innings of 24. Jake Suine chipped in with 18 runs, Lachlan Spry 16, Nate Mingay 17 and Matt Andrighetto 15.
Archie Leach was on target with the ball, collecting three wickets. Alex Hilton helped out with his two wickets. Alec Brady stood out in the Strikers innings, hitting up 15 runs.
The next best score was Archie Leach's seven. Kobi Nancarrow and Hunter Sibraa did most of the damage, taking three wickets each and Lachlan Spry bowled well for his two wickets.
The Scorchers were on fire on Saturday morning, belting 119 runs for the loss of only two wickets. The Sixers struggled to 10/32 in reply. Josh Pentony continued his good form with a score of 30. Levi Plum contributed 15 and Curtis Carlon 11.
Billy Collis tried to stem the flow of runs by taking two wickets. The Sixers main run scorers were Matilda Malloy and Jordy James, who both made eight.
Levi Plum stood out in the bowling department with a haul of four wickets. Harrison Palmer gave good support, capturing two wickets.
The Cricketer of the week award goes to Levi Plum for his four wickets and 15 runs for the Scorchers.

SENIOR BINKS/TUCKER
A hard hitting innings of 36 from Yash Rathi helped Lyon score a decisive victory over Paine. Lyon finished with 3/107 to overcome the challenge from Paine who made 5/60.
Apart from Rathi's big score, Jugal Patel made 18 and Jaxsin Brown made 11. Cormac Skaliiotis, Austin Flack and Ben Virago all picked up a wicket for Paine.
Austin Flack top scored for Paine with 17 runs, Amijot Singh added 12 and Ryda Sutcliffe 13. Om Chaudhary was Lyons most successful bowler picking up 2/11 off three overs.
Smith's scored a convincing win over Finch. After scoring 8/93, Smith held Finch to a low total of 10/42. Brad Whitworth was the main contributor to Smith's total, scoring 20 runs and he was ably supported by Reif Leach who knocked up 15. Wyatt Carter 17 and Daniel Mitchell 11.
Jim Prendergast's bowling was on target, enabling him to take 3/9. Charlie Morel 2/7 and Kye Campbell 2/16 also picked up valuable wickets. Charlie Morel top scored for Finch and Will Ruggeri and Lachlan Wynne helped the score along.
Daniel Mitchell proved hard to handle and finished with 4/1 after two overs for Smith. Jack Pentony continued his good form to take 2/5 and Violet Leach chipped in with 2/10.
Yash Rathi takes out this weeks award for his hard hitting 36 runs and one wicket.

MILLIKEN SHIELD - GRIFFITH V HILLSTON
Griffith started their 2020/21 Milliken Shield campaign with a strong win over Hillston at Hillston on Sunday.
Griffith won the toss and batted first. After the early loss of Owen Robinson, Ted Files and Jai Kenny got the score ticking along before Files was out for 14 with the score on 40. Jai Kenny continued on to reach 20. Connor Moore took over and belted 27 runs in quick time, before retiring.
Then a procession of batsmen enjoyed some time at the crease. Yash Rathi retired on 17, Jaxsin Brown retired on 15, Fletcher Kelly retired on 14 and Violet Leach on 12.
By the end of Griffith's innings the score had reached 4/156.
Hillston got off to a flying start with Manan Dave retiring on 25 after only five overs. The bowlers then got on top and wickets fell steadily until Hillston ended their innings on 73.
Griffith most successful bowlers were Owen Robinson who finished with 4/1 and Reif Leach who captured 3/2.
