Never Give Up, Son is the second edition of his memoirs and tells the story of his mum Caterina Guerra and himself and their lives in Beelbangera, Yenda and Griffith.
As the first edition of the book began to grow in popularity, the published encountered difficulties and eventually closed.
Like the title suggests, Mr Guerra didn't give up and has found a new publisher for the book. He didn't just get a re-print but has added to the volume.
He said people stopped him in the street and asked him about his first book and where they could get a copy, which helped provide the impetus to write the second edition of the book.
In his unique style, Mr Guerra writes about the struggles, the triumphs and how through it all he followed his mother's sage advice of 'never giving up, no matter what's ahead'.
"I was expected to go mad or turn into a hoodlum and expected not to make it," Mr Guerra said.
He said his mother always told him that tough times don't last, but tough people do.
"My mother didn't give up on me," he said.
From his time in the boxing ring as a fighter, trainer and promoter, playing with the Yenda Blues or building a successful transport business and taking on railway barons - he shares an unvarnished view of life in Griffith.

When he took the second edition to the publisher, Mr Guerra said the book would either being incredibly successful or not find its audience.
However, Mr Guerra said it isn't about earning a dollar, but preserving his mother's story, life and experiences for future generations.
On Saturday, Mr Guerra will launch the book, and signing copies at Griffith News and Gifts on Banna Avenue this weekend.
He'll be there from 8am on Saturday and 9am on Sunday.
