While the three grades above them were unable to play over the weekend due to the wet weather, the up-and-coming youngsters took to the field on Wednesday at Griffith Showground.

After Hanwood won the toss and elected to bat in their clash with Coro, it was the Cougars who were able to get the upper hand with Lucas Wood (3/4) picking up a hat-trick in the first over.
Jett Demamiel (2) and Josh Serafin (3) put on 10 runs before Liam James (1/2) and Jai Kenny (1/2) taking two quick wickets.
Nick McGibbon (15) and Bradley Whitworth (11*) added some late runs for Hanwood before they were bowled out for 54 in the 20th over.
Hanwood needed to pick up early wickets if they wanted to have a chance of stopping the Cougars and Whitworth (2/4) picking up two early wickets to see Coro sitting on 2/11 after four overs.
Ryan Andrighetto and Bede Kenny got their side to within 13 runs of victory before Andrighetto (19) fell to the bowling of Owen Robinson (1/7).
Kenny (17*) and Joseph Macri (1*) were able to guide the Cougars to a seven-wicket win with 10 overs left to stay at the top of the fourth grade standings.
Exies Eagles took on Leagues, it was the Panthers who were able to pick up two early wickets with Charlie Morel and Makenzie Hassan (1/7) doing the damage.
Jordan Williams (17) and Aiden Ashcroft (13) got the Eagles towards 50 before Reif Leach (1/4) and Morel (2/11) made the breakthrough Leagues needed.
Leagues picked up another two wickets with Isaac Conlan and Angad Brar picking up runs outs as the Eagles finished on 6/79.
After Jordan Virago (0) fell to the bowling of Fletcher Robertson (1/10) before Pranshu Patel (13) and Isaac Conlan (33) tried to steer the Panthers into a strong position.
Ashcroft (2/2) and Rajinderpal Brar (2/1) halted the charge to see Leagues bowled out for 68 in the 24th over to give the Eagles an 11-run victory.
This week will see Leagues and Hanwood facing off as both side's look to pick up their first wins of the season while Exies Diggers and Exies Eagles will look to close the gap on the top of the table Cougars side who have the bye.
