After battling it out with Tolland for the minor premiership two weeks ago, the two sides will meet again with plenty on the line.
Hanwood coach Anthony Zuccato admitted he didn't expect to be playing Tolland at this point in the season.
"To be honest it is the game I expected to be playing next week (in the grand final) but the way it has worked out it will be this weekend instead," he said.
" It is definitely going to be a big game."
It has been two weeks since Hanwood last played a game which was also against Tolland, and while the Hanwood coach admitted it would have been nice to be playing last weekend, there were some benefits to having the extra week to prepare.
"The extra week off gave us time to get over a couple of little niggling injuries," he said.
"Especially for the likes of Johane (Oberholzer) so she will be fitter and fresher for the extra week, which is a good thing.
"Unfortunately Felicity McClure won't be able to make it even with the extra week off. Hopefully, we will be able to win this week and get her back for the grand final."
Zuccato pointed to the performance of the midfield as what will be the determining factor.
"If we can control their midfield and control the possession there and get the ball to our forwards I think we are definitely in with a good chance," he said.
"We just have to deal with Tolland on the weekend and do everything we can to stop them and make our way into the grand final."
