Elenore Boucard was 2nd and Matt Champass back after a two-month break was 3rd. With only two more races in the Arsova competition Britt Mayo on 158 points should win the trophy as she is 43 points a head of Aidan Fattore in 2nd place and 45 points ahead of Sharon Careri in 3rd place.
Jack Jasnos in his maiden Hill run was first in the short course followed by Tom Mackerras and Harry Morsehead. With two more races to go, only a brave soul would predict the winner of the short course Arsova trophy. Chloe Morshead is still in the lead with 201 points, but the gap is narrowing.
Nate Mingay and Tom Makerras are both on 193 points and Harry Morshead is on 187 points. Mingay is the fastest on the course but is also strongly handicapped, uncle Tom shaved a full minute off last weeks run and Harry can mix it with the best. Watch this space.
Isabella Salmon set fastest female time of the short course competition. Salmon has mixed long and short runs in this competition so is out of contention for the trophy.
The club's new timing mat worked a treat and so much lighter in weight than the old mat. A win for those setting up each week.
Alana Rossiter, Mitch Jasnos and Sam Simpson returned after a few months break. Sonya Salvestro and son Rhys were back after 4 years.
The Committee met on Monday 12th and accepted seven new members, namely: - Daniel Nawia, Danessa Mickan, Nikolai Love, Kitty Maher, Georgina Maher, Andrew Maher and Jack Jasnos.
