After an even start the Tigers outscored the Demons by 13 goals to five after quarter time to prevail 14.14 (98) to 6.7 (43).
Ex-Griffith player and 2018 Riverina League player of the year Jordan Iudica played a big role for the Tigers throughout the year, along with current Swans coach Will Grigg, while former Griffith mentor Adrian Pavese coached Queanbeyan this year.
Leeton's 2017 premiership winner Toby Conroy kicked a goal in the grand final win.
Other Queanbeyan players to have played locally included Tim Shea (Temora), Matt Bernasconi (Barellan), Lachie Highfield (North Wagga), Tom Stapleton (CSU) and Kade Klemke (Hentry), while former Wagga Tiger Campbell Lovell missed the decider through injury.
Wagga 16-year-old Ally Morphett was also influential in Belconnen's ten-point grand final win over Queanbeyan in the women's clash, earning best on ground after taking control of the ruck at crucial moments.
Ainslie had won the four previous AFL Canberra premierships.
