It was a bitter-sweet story for Mia Stockwell last Saturday. The sweet bit was that she reached the milestone of 1000km running on the "Hill", the bitter bit was that she injured herself during the run and limped across the finish line.

Stockwell joined the Feral's in September 2009, meaning it has taken her 11years to clock up her first 1000km. Stockwell is doing her HSC this year and the Feral's wish her well.
Bob Barker and Roy Binks both overstretched their hamstrings and will be taking it easy for a couple of weeks.
Vince Restagno is returning to the "Hill" next week, just walking at this stage and Stewart Woods recovery has seen him moved on from walking to a cautious jog.
It not all a tail of woe, many Feral's recorded PB's meaning the handicapper will be busy during the week.
In the long course 3 new faces were on the podium. Britt with a PB was 1st across the line, she is also the competition leader with 87 points. Michael Colaciuri with a PB was 2nd and Allan Jones 3rd.
Four weeks into a 9-week competition has not seen any major place getter appearing twice and no wonder as their handicaps have been stretched by 1 minute to 2.45 minutes.
The short course also saw 2 new faces on the podium. On his second appearance Warwick Date took 8 minutes off his first run to claim 1st place. Nate Mingay with a PB was 2nd and last week's winner Tom Mackerras was 3rd.
Chloe Morshead leads the point score with 117 points followed by Tom Mackerras 113 points and Harry Morshead 112 points.
Following the committee meeting last Monday Warwick Date and Ashley Pianca were welcomed into the club. The committee made a number of important decisions and Feral's are advised to check our website as there are details regarding the 2021 Joggers Program, cancelation of the presentation dinner due to Covid-19 and alternate arrangements for trophy presentation and other matters.
Subject to no change in NSW Government regulations, the Feral's meet at the green water tower opposite Pioneer Park every Saturday for a 4:30pm start. People interested in friendly social running or walking are welcome to join the club.
