NSW has recorded no new coronavirus case acquired by community transmission overnight, with only two cases found in returned overseas travellers in hotel quarantine.

The last time the state recorded no local cases was on July 3.
"For the first time in some months we had zero community transmission overnight," NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian announced on Tuesday morning.
"We are in a very good space at the moment, and we need to make sure we continue on this path."
Despite the positive result, NSW Health continues to warn about the decline in testing numbers in recent weeks.
There were just 7616 tests reported in the latest daily figures, and the department would like to see testing numbers above 20,000.
"While there were no locally acquired cases recorded in the past 24 hours, the virus is likely still circulating and it is imperative anyone displaying mild symptoms get tested immediately and not delay their test," Dr Jeremy McAnulty said.
He appealed to the community to come forward for testing right away if they have a runny nose or scratchy throat, cough, fever or other symptoms that could be COVID-19.
"If people don't come forward and get tested, we can't keep the pandemic at bay," he said.
"For the sake of your friends and family, get a test. And if symptoms recur even a few days later, test again. It's free."
NSW Health also continues to strongly encourage people to wear masks when unable to physically distance, particularly in indoor settings and on public transport, to keep everyone safe.
