Tony Catanzariti 37 points won A Grade, scoring 18 points out and 19 home with nine pars, from the consistent Tony McBride 35 points, carding eight pars on a countback from Slim Cavanaugh 35 points.
The wind held no terrors for the B Graders, Charlie Guglielmino carded the days top score of 42 points to take the win with a steady 21 points on each nine, nailing a birdie on the 9th to go with seven pars. Bryan Salvestro picked the wrong day to fire, carding 41 points only good enough for second, draining a birdie on the 4th to go with nine pars.
Mark Webb 36 points best in C GRade, carding four three-pointers over Peter Jones 35 points, six three-pointers on a countback over Ray Barrington 35 points.
Vouchers to 30 points.
A solid field of 57 players contested a Medley single Versus Par.
Mathew Staines continues to showcase his talent, firing a brilliant round of seven-under-par 64, playing off -3 to card the winning A Grade score of +4. This must be close to a new course record. Runner-up Chris Richards +1 over Wayne Tyndall and Col Woodcock.
David Kidd +4 won B Grade ahead of Brendon Peters +2 on a countback over Lama Lolotonga.
Jarrod Gale +2 won C Grade on a countback over Fusi Fidowo +2.

All golfers are advised that the course renovations will now be done this coming Monday and Tuesday, September 28th-29th. The course will be closed on these two days.
The McNabb Caltex 5's are set to commence on Monday, October 5th. Entry online or forms are available from the Pro Shop. There are also special memberships available for the Summer 5's.
The Golf Clinics continue, Seniors Tuesday 10.00am. Ladies Friday 2.00pm. Juniors Sunday 10.00am.
Members are advised that as long as there is enough support, the Club will open on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
The events this week are Wednesday stableford, Saturday stroke, Sunday medley single stableford.
The veterans played a medley single stableford last Thursday with 36 players.
Tony McBride 40 points won Div. 1 ahead of Don Catanzariti 36 points.
Wal Hood 40 points won Div.2 from Sue Tyrell 35 points.
Vouchers went to 32 points.

There were 41 players in a single stableford last Wednesday.
James Lethlean eagled the 17th on his way to taking out A Grade from Gerry Cox 36 points.
Dom Guglielmino 39 points won B Grade on a countback over Garry Hartnett 39 points on a countback over Neru Leuea.
Fusi Fidow 41 points best in C Grade over Jorge Woods 37 points.
