Emergency services were greeted by a silver Holden Astra engulfed in flames upon their arrival at the scene, which was shortly after 7pm.
The vehicle had been pushed into a canal and lit on fire by vandals, who are yet to be identified.
The flames were completely extinguished by Rural Fire Service NSW, with no injuries being sustained.
According to police, the car had been left abandoned eastbound on the road toward Leeton since September 17.
