The Feral's celebrate milestones such as clocking up kilometres in 1000's. Last Saturday Rodney Savage reached 3000 km of running on the "Hill".
With a 100% attendance, it would take a little over 3 years to reach a 1000km. So, Rodney gets to hold the 3000km shield for a whole two weeks because Wendy Minato on 2989.70km will reach 3000km in 2 weeks' time.
Some new faces were in the winner's circle this week. In the long course Scott Amaro was first and back from a long absence was Chris Palmer in second place followed by veteran John Johns.
Those perusing the race 3 results might wonder what happened to Roy Binks, he is usually up in the top 10. Last week Roy suffered a navigation disaster and found himself on the wrong track, he retraced his steps found the right course and eventually crossed the finish line.
Tom MacKerras despite an increased handicap was first in the short course eclipsing Harry and Chloe Morshead.
At the end of the Arsova competition the Feral's normally hold their presentation dinner, but these are not normal times. On Monday the Feral's committee cancelled the presentation dinner in line with Government restrictions due to COVID-19.
Trophies will be presented over a number of weeks on Saturdays during the Hotfoot competition.
Subject to no change in NSW Government regulations, the Feral's meet at the green water tower opposite Pioneer Park every Saturday for a 4:30pm start.
People interested in friendly social running or walking are welcome to join the club.
