Local NSW Rural Fire Service RFS and Fire and Rescue NSW crews were alerted to the blaze on Sara Road at 2.45am which caused a powerline to come down which caused a delay in firefighting efforts as the area was cordoned off.
The power was isolated within 30 minutes, with firefighters resuming to battle the flames, but the premises could not be saved.
"The house was already well alight by the time we arrived," a FRNSW spokesperson said.
"The cause of the fire is not yet known and an investigation currently underway."
Four RFS and two FRNSW trucks attended the address and had the fire contained by 3.45am.
Crews extinguished the fire and left the scene at 5.15am.
This follows another housefire in Leeton on Monday afternoon.
No one was injured in either fire but firefighters have reminded the community to check appliances and ensure working smoke detectors are fitted to avoid a tragedy.
