A wanted man accused of leading police on a number of pursuits, including a chase that ended when he allegedly rammed a ute into a stationary police car near Wagga, remains behind bars after facing court charged with multiple driving offences.

Simon Carberry, of Parkinson Crescent in Griffith, was arrested on Sunday after he allegedly ran from the scene of a crash at Gobbagombalin and had to be subdued.
Carberry, 21, is accused of driving a white Mazda ute that officers tried to stop on Old Narrandera Road at Currawarna about 4.20pm.
The ute, which police said was reported stolen from Yoogali late last week, did not stop and officers gave chase.
Police allege Mr Carberry later deliberately crashed into a highway patrol vehicle parked on the side of the road near Pine Gully Road at Gobbagombalin.
He is then accused of running from the vehicle before being arrested 200 metres away after being subdued using capsicum spray.
Mr Carberry was taken to Wagga Base Hospital and later Wagga police station, where he was charged with a revocation of parole warrant and 11 offences, including three counts of drive motor vehicle menaces another with intent, three counts of police pursuit not stop drive dangerously, two counts of police pursuit not stop drive at speed, take and drive conveyance without consent of owner and never licensed person drive vehicle on road.

Police allege the charges relate to incidents between Friday and the time of Mr Carberry's arrest.
Court documents said the menacing driving charges related to three separate alleged incidents between 12.50am and 2.07pm on Sunday - on Kookora Street and Mackay Avenue in Griffith and on Bolton Street in Narrandera.
Each of the alleged incidents involved the white Mazda.
Mr Carberry is accused of leading police on five pursuits in that vehicle - two in Griffith, one at Leeton, one in Narrandera and the incident at Currawarna.
He was also charged with special aggravated break and enter commit serious indictable offence, which relates to an alleged incident in Hanwood during the early hours of Sunday.
Mr Carberry is accused of breaking into and stealing from a business on McGann Road.
According to court documents, the break and enter offence was aggravated because he was allegedly armed with a knife and in the company of another person at the time.
Mr Carberry did not appear when his matter was mentioned briefly in Wagga Local Court by his Aboriginal Legal Service solicitor Rachel Thampapillai on Monday.
No application for bail was made and it was formally refused by Magistrate Christopher Halburd.
The matter was adjourned to Griffith Local Court in November.
