The clinic will be held on Tuesday, September 29 at Ted Scobie Oval and Australian representative Eliza Baddock running the event.
"WE came up with the idea initially when I headed away to Malaysia to try and develop the juniors kids a little bit before they head away to Junior State Cup," she said.
"Over the last couple of years we have had a couple of teams, but we really want to get it back up to where it was when it was being played in Wollongong. Griffith was sending away 10 or 12 teams, and we want to build it back up to that point.
"We feel like having that skill development is going to benefit the kids when they head away."
Baddock feels that with the season just around the corner it is a perfect time to tune up the skills before the competitions get underway on the week of October 12.
"We did a bit of research, and a lot of other clubs in Sydney and surrounds were doing clinics these holidays, and we thought it would be a good time to jump in early before the touch season starts," she said.
"That way he kids can then take it into their junior competitions or the senior competitions for the older kids who are playing and get that match practise for when they go away."
The talented touch player urged anyone with an interest in playing at the representative level to give it a go because of the opportunity it creates especially with the Junior State Cup being in Wagga.
"It is very attractive for them to play against clubs like East Roosters, Cronulla and Wagga are very strong as well," she said.
"To be able to play against those sorts of clubs and only have to travel two hours to do it it is very exciting for them."
