After being the only team not to take the field last weekend after being forfeited on by Canberra Croatia, they were able to return to the field as they look to close in on top spot with three rounds to go.
The game didn't get off to the best start with Tuggeranong taking the lead with seven minutes gone before Pearson Kasawaya struck just before halftime to see the sides level at the break.
Tuggeranong was able to retake the lead early in the second half before a red card for the United side swung the game in favour of Griffith.
Just a minute after the red card, Kasawaya was able to bring his side level against before giving his side the advantage after Griffith was awarded a penalty and the young winger converted from the spot to make it 3-2.
With only a couple of minutes remaining James Naseby popped up to put the game to bed and give Griffith the three points with a 4-2 victory.
Unfortunately, the under 13s and under 16s games didn't go ahead with Tuggeranong forfeiting both games to hand Griffith 3-0.
Griffith will travel across to Wagga again this weekend to take on local rivals Wagga City Wanderers as the season enters its final stages.
