The local Can Assist branch president has been putting the lives of others above her own for decades, assisting anyone she can in their fight against the insidious illness.
"I was born here, I went to school here and I never really thought about leaving because I married a local boy," Mrs Forner said.
"I've lived here all my life and enjoyed every bit of it.
"I've been with Can Assist for probably 20 years now, and held the role of president for about 17 of those."
Mrs Forner says that anyone travelling to or through Griffith has to walk down Banna Avenue, visit the wineries and dine at our local venues.
"We've got great restaurants and that's a very big plus for Griffith," Mrs Forner said.
"I think we need a few other styles of restaurants, because we've got Italian, Italian and then another Italian.
"But we have got lovely food and wineries here, be sure to go to clubs and socialise with the community and learn what's good about us here."
Olga also commended the schooling available, sporting facilities and local grocers.
"I think it's a great town, I really do," Mrs Forner said.
"For me, I've never thought of leaving the place."
The beloved wife of Charlie Forner has truly found her home in Griffith, putting her children and grandchildren through education locally.
When asked about acquired wisdom from her life in the city, Mrs Forner said there's nothing more important than being kind to one another.
"Always be honest and respectful," Ms Forner said.
"I think it just matters a lot to respect others, to consider how they're doing and perhaps try to understand their situation a little bit better.
"I don't like to see people not listening to one another."
