Murrumbidgee Local Health District has provided The Area News with its latest testing figures for the region.
In Griffith, the total amount of tests conducted is sitting at 3675, with 3250 residents being tested.
These numbers reflect those people who have been tested more than once for the virus.
Griffith has not seen a positive COVID-19 test result for many months now.
However, the community has been urged not to be complacent by MLHD.
Griffith Base Hospital general manager Greg Brylski said detecting the virus early was a priority in the Murrumbidgee.
"Large-scale COVID-19 testing allows health services to quickly identify who has the disease and arrange for them to receive the care needed. Isolating known cases prevents them from coming into contact with others and slows the rate of transmission," he said.

"NSW Health Pathology has pioneered a solution to automatically deliver results directly to patients via SMS.
"It means patients tested for COVID-19 at our clinics can get their results faster, with most results being delivered within 24 to 48 hours of lab testing.
"We strongly encourage people to choose this option, as delivering negative results faster to patients means we can help allay the distress and anxiety that comes with waiting for your result."
