It's expected that by Saturday - the fence around the new park will be removed and children of all ages will be able to take their scooters, bike and boards for a turn.
The project has been funded with $200,000 from the NSW Government's My Community Project program, with residents from around the Murray electorate having their say on which projects get funding.
Nine-year-old Jackson Dunn helped kick start the project which was given Griffith City Council's approval in May.
The Yenda Skate Park Community committee was gathered to help guide the project and Melbourne-based firm Convic to complete the design and build of the park.
Construction began in July.
Convic foreman Carlos Membreno said the skate park had turned out "perfect".
"We've had no dramas and everyone has been excited," he said.
"It's good in these small communities, people really appreciate it, it's not the 10th park in the suburb, it's the only one.
"I've been blown away by the community's effort to get it done."
Yenda Skate Park Community and Organisation volunteer Ann Furner said the plan was to have the park ready for children to use on Saturday.
"Kids will be welcome. Weather permitting," Ms Furner said.
"We're really pleased - the weather was kind to Carlos and the boys. I'm just blown away by seeing it on a plan and then seeing it in real life.
"To see all the kids who are keen to get on and have a go is great."
Ms Furner said the committee needed to thank PHL Surveyors, Greg Young Transport and Pleasant Valley Red Metal who had donated products or services to make the skate park a reality.
"They didn't hesitate to help as it was a community project," she said.
She said the committee also appreciated the efforts of Convic who had been willing help a community project.
While the concrete work has been done and the paint has dried - it's not the end of the work.
The committee is looking at covering the edges of the park with turf or grass seeds for lawn, and they're working out a plan to help connect a footpath from the skate park to the existing footpath.
Ms Furner said the skate park would be well used by all Yenda's children and teenagers.
"I will be bringing my boys Michael and Robert and Emily here on Saturday, but I'm going to leave my scooter at home."
