Murrumbidgee District Police have charged a man in relation to a spate of break and enters at businesses in Griffith.

Businesses on Sanders Street, Mackay Street, Jondaryan Avenue, Griffith Avenue in Griffith, and Yenda Place in Yenda were broken into between January 19 and June 16.
Items taken ranged from cigarettes to electronic equipment and police allege the stolen items are worth $44,000.
Officers will allege he caused $6000 in damage to small businesses.
Griffith police began investigations into the break and enters and on July 14, attended a jail to charge a 25-year-old Yenda man.
The man was charged with nine counts of break and enter, four counts of aggravated break and enter in company, aggravated break and enter commit serious indictable offence and travelling in a car without the consent of the owner.
The man appeared in Griffith Local Court on Wednesday where he was refused bail and will appear again on August 12.
