It will be a top of the table clash this weekend with the Hanwood side the only side yet to drop points in 2020 while Cootamundra is two points behind after a 1-1 draw with Junee last weekend.
Hanwood coach Anthony Zuccato is expecting a tough hit out.
"It will definitely be a physical game they are always a good physical team to play against," he said.
"They will definitely give the girls a good push."
Zuccato is also hopeful there will be a full contingency of players available having had the week to get over any knocks.
"There were a couple of niggling injuries, but hopefully it looks like they are over them and we will be fresh to go on Sunday," he said.
"Alana (Marando) pulled up alright and one girl who missed the start of the year with a broken toe but it looks like she is coming to training so hopefully she will be good for Sunday."
After a tough battle with Tolland before the week off, Zuccato said his side are in a positive headspace but knows there are still improvements that can be made.
"It was a close hard-fought game (against Tolland), and there were things we need to work on which we will tonight (Wednesday) at training, and hopefully we can execute on Sunday," he said.
"We just need to work on our control in the game and our pass selection. It has definitely been a good start to the season, but we just need better in the areas we need to improve and get back to where we were last year."
