Winners and first qualifiers were Brett Angel and Andy Arnold who combined to fire 65 off the stick to card 59 1/4 nett, combining for six birdies and an eagle two on the 15th.
In a game of fractions, father and son Mark and Riley Townsend carded 60 1/2 nett, 70 off the stick with two birdies to finish a close second. Then came Chris Fuchs and Tony Leadbetter 61 1/4 nett, 66 scratch, with Jason Magoci and Col Vearing 61 1/2 nett, 64 scratch, an eagle on the 8th. Vouchers to 66 3/4 nett.
A solid field of 62 players contested Sundays medley single stableford.
Liam Blanch 38 points won A Grade on a countback over Ngarau Noa 38 points.
Darryl Graham 39 points best in B Grade over Byron James 37 points on a countback over Nick Van Liff, John Wallace and Garry Argus. Paul Glyde 43points won C Grade over Riley Townsend 40 points, his second runner-up on the weekend.
Vouchers to 32 points.
Local multi Club Champ Matt Staines played at Leeton last Saturday and fired a seven-under-par round of 64 but could only finish second, playing off minus five.
There will be no clinics this week. The Junior Clinics are still on Sunday at 10.00am.

Members are playing a single stableford on Wednesday, single stroke for monthly medal on Saturday and a medley single stableford on Sunday.
The ladies play a single stroke on Wednesday and Saturday for their monthly medal and the second round of their 4BBB Stroke Championship on Sunday.
The veterans played a single stableford last Thursday with 39 players. Lance Gilbert 38 points won Div.1 over Garry Cox 36 points. Div. 2 won by Roy Calabria 40 points from Skeet Milne 39 points. Div. 3 John Evans 37 points won Rob Gilbert 35 points second on a count back over Len Sexton and Mike Hedditch.
