The Yoogali side started strong with Joe Preece getting the side's first chance, but the visitors didn't have to wait long to hit the back of the net.
A corner from Calvin Roddie which was headed back across the box by Andrew Vitucci found Isaac Donadel who struck the ball well at the top of the box to open the scoring and the Yoogali side held the one-goal advantage heading into the break.
Roddie and Donadel combined again in the early stages of the second half, but Donadel wasn't quite able to steer the ball into the bottom corner.
Yoogali were able to double their lead after a free-kick from Andrew Keady rattled the crossbar and fell into the path of Vitucci, but a mistake at the back from Michael DePaoli gave Brindabella a chance back into the game with the score at 2-1 midway through the second half.
While coach Luke Santolin felt the ball bobbled on his keeper, he knows his side can't let teams back into the game.
"We don't need that kind of pressure," he said.
"It let them get back into the game a little bit, and their crowd got involved.
"But they pushed, and we pushed back, and that was pleasing to see."
The game was put to bed after a long ball from Jacob Donadel found Grant Davidson who unleashed a stunning volley to find the top corner before Calvin Roddie pushed Yoogali three goals and secure the points.
After what had turned into a three-month extra wait to get out onto the park, Santolin was pleased with the side's overall performance.
"I think we bottled up all that time where we didn't know if we were going to play or not and unleashed it today," he said.
"You saw some really good performances from the boys."
The Yoogali side will have next weekend off before O'Connor Knights at home.
"You want to keep that rhythm going but in saying that we will have some sore boys without match fitness so you can take your positives away and it lets the suspense build up again before our next match," he said.
"There is still plenty to work on but it was a good day for the club and we will look to build on that."
