Mrs Turner first opened the doors of her business, Coffee on Bridge on February 28.

Back in February no one could see what was on the horizon but the easing of restrictions has changed things for the better.

"The last three weeks we have been phenomenally busy, which has been amazing," she said.

These last few weeks have been in stark contrast to the time in lockdown and like many cafes and restaurants, Coffee on Bridge became takeaway only.

"After we first closed we didn't know if we could come back from that. I still had bills to pay for the setup," Mrs Turner said.

"I don't think anything will be as though than those few weeks. I've never seen anything like it in my life and I hope we don't go into lockdown again."

Mrs Turner who's worked in many of the city's coffeeshops and cafes over the years years has dreamed of opening her own business.

"I want it to become something I can be proud of," she said.

Mrs Turner chosen Bill's Beans to brew coffee with. Bill's Beans are roasted in Orange, NSW and distributed around much of the Central West.

She did several taste tests with different varieties of coffee bean before settling on Bill's Beans.

"I tried a lot of coffee beans," she said.

Her choice seems to have paid off. Coffee on Bridge started with two kilos of coffee beans each week, but now goes through 18 kilos a week.

"I really appreciate the support of our regular customers and those who chose to support me throughout the lockdown," Mrs Turner said.

Coffee on Bridge can be found inside Arrow Locksmiths and Security on Bridge Road.
