The Grenfell Kart Club run the meeting, also known as the 'Festival of the Kids', annually in memory of a local gentleman who worked tirelessly with the club for a number of years.
President of the Griffith Kart Club, Wal Snaidero, says the weekend has grown rapidly in recent years, earning itself the reputation of one of the best race meetings in NSW.
"It should be an interesting weekend," Mr Snaidero said.
"I just don't know what it is about the Grenfell Kart Club, but it seems to just have a fantastic atmosphere and it draws people in."
The competitive races at Bogolong Circuit will begin on Sunday, July 12.
Weather forecasts have sparked some cause for concern, but many racegoers feel the wet track adds an element of excitement to proceedings.
"We do have a bit of wet weather coming, so we'll have to wait and see what Sunday brings us," Mr Snaidero said.
A total of 45 entrants have already registered for the competition, with many of those numbers coming from Griffith.
Griffith rookie Hamish Campbell has been in excellent form, nabbing second on the podium in Wollongong last weekend while racing in the Novice class.
"Young Campbell seems to be on fire lately, he's really jumped out of his shell and is showing some good signs of a great career ahead of him," Mr Snaidero said.
The Griffith Kart Club are eager to take on their first away club championship this year, with calendar bookings in Orange two weeks from now and a race meeting at home in September.
"It will be good to get back over to Grenfell, we haven't been there since March," Mr Snaidero added.
