According to Meat and Livestock Australia's National Livestock Reporting Service numbers lifted at this sale with lambs showing the increase.

Lamb quality was fair, though lighter lambs were in short supply.

Heavy and extra heavy weight lambs made up the majority of the yarding. Not all the usual buyers were present and competing in a cheaper market.

The limited yarding of light lambs reached $132/head.

Trade weights were $10 easier with the 18 to 22kg portion selling from $160 to $170/head.

A lack of export buyers saw heavy and extra heavy weight lambs ease $15 to $20/head. Heavy lambs to 26kg sold from $166 to $198/head.

Extra heavy weight export lambs received from $187 to $230/head.

Heavy Dorper lambs sold from $166 to $211/head. Carcase prices averaged from 663c to 730c/kg cwt. There was 400 mutton penned and quality was very mixed.

Merino ewes reached $158/head.

Crossbred ewes sold from $140 to $210 while Dorper ewes received from $160 to $196/head.
