Following recent meetings between the SIRU board and all of the junior club presidents, a final list of dates have been set with the locations set to be revealed in the coming weeks.
The season will commence on July 26 with six gala days to be held with the final round set for September 20.
The SIRU board was pleased to announce that all 11 clubs would be participating in 2020 and they were pleased to still be able to offer a competition for the participants.
The SIRU Junior Season will have a non-competitive focus in 2020, with the removal of Finals and Champions for 2020. The aim of this is to allow all participants to go out and focus on participation and enjoyment, rather than results.
"This will also allow SIRU to reduce the travel for families, which is all important during this time as travel for sport over a season can become quite expensive, especially in a zone as large as ours," their statement read.
Meanwhile the senior competition will start on July 25 with all teams taking part in some capacity apart from the Griffith Blacks, while there will only be four teams in the first grade competition.
The Hay Cutters will be playing in the women's competition which will see the side take on Wagga Ag College at home.
